Instant Wins
Certain entry numbers have prizes locked to them before entries open. Hit one of those numbers and you win that prize straight away.
Yes, where a main prize is included. Winning an instant prize does not remove your entry from the main draw.
The instant-win part is finished. If the competition also has a main prize, that continues until its advertised close.
The prize is not awarded. Winning numbers are not moved later to force a winner.
Yes. Valid postal entries are eligible for the same advertised instant prizes and, where included, the main prize.
Payments and Refunds
No. The entry price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
For most prizes, delivery within mainland Great Britain is included unless the competition page says otherwise.
Entry fees are not normally refundable once an entry has been submitted, unless WilderGoat cancels the competition or a refund is required by law.
This is because your entry is added into the competition process once confirmed.
If your payment fails, your paid entry will not be valid unless payment is later completed and the entry is confirmed before the competition closes.
Draws and Winners
Instant wins: specific winning entry numbers are locked before entries open. Your randomly assigned numbers are checked against them when your entry is confirmed.
Main prize: where included, the winner is selected after the competition closes from valid entries using WilderGoat’s verified random draw process.
If a competition includes a main prize, that draw takes place after the competition closes. The closing and/or draw date is shown on the competition page.
Instant wins are checked when valid entry numbers are assigned; there is no separate later instant-win draw.
Instant win: you will see the result after your valid order is confirmed, and we will contact you where needed.
Main prize: where included, we contact the winner using the email address linked to their WilderGoat account.
Winners may be asked to provide one form of photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence, and one proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement.
Winners may request anonymity. We will respect reasonable anonymity requests, although we may still need to share certain winner information with regulators, the Advertising Standards Authority or other relevant bodies if required.
Prizes and Delivery
For most prizes, delivery to mainland Great Britain is included unless the competition page says otherwise.
Some locations, large prizes or specialist items may require different delivery or collection arrangements. These will be explained in the competition details where relevant.
