Choose a WilderGoat competition, check the prize details, answer the question, pick your entries, then follow the draw through to the winner announcement.
The plain version
1. Every draw shows the prize, ticket cap per person, price, closing date and entry route.
2. Paid online entries and valid free postal entries go into the same draw.

The process is designed to be easy to follow, but still clear enough to show how entries are handled.
Choose a competition
Pick the outdoor prize you would actually like to win. Each page explains the prize, ticket price, entry cap, closing date and any important notes.
Answer the question
Online entries include a competition question where required. Choose your answer carefully before completing checkout.

Select the number of entries you want, within the limit shown on that competition page. Your basket and account help keep the entry limit fair.
Create or log in
Your WilderGoat account lets us record entries, apply limits, contact you if you win and keep the competition traceable.
Entries are recorded
Once confirmed, your valid entries are recorded against your account. Ticket numbers are automatically assigned randomly, rather than picked manually.
Winner selected after close
After the competition closes, the winner is selected at random using a publicly verifiable random number generator from all valid entries, then contacted directly. See our how the winner is picked explanation for more info.
No purchase necessary
Free postal entry is part of every draw.
You can enter any active WilderGoat competition for free by post. Valid postal entries are included in the same draw as paid online entries and have the same chance of winning.
Postal entries need to follow the instructions on the Free Postal Entry page and arrive before the relevant closing date.
Fairness checks
Paid and valid postal entries are included together.
Winners are selected at random from valid entries.
Winner details are checked before a prize is released.
Records are kept so competitions can be checked if needed.
After the draw
What happens if you win.
The winner is contacted using the details linked to their WilderGoat account. Verification may be needed before the prize is released.

Verification
Winners may be asked for ID and proof of address before a prize is delivered or collected.
Prize arranged
Once verified, delivery or collection is arranged according to the competition details and prize requirements.
