Postal Entry
You can enter any active WilderGoat competition for free by post. Valid postal entries are eligible for the same advertised prizes as paid online entries, whether that means instant wins, a main prize, or both, provided they meet the postal requirements and arrive in time.
How to enter by post
Before sending a postal entry, please create a WilderGoat account using the same email address you include on your postal entry. This helps us match your entry to the correct person and competition.
To enter a competition by post, send a handwritten postcard with the following details clearly written:
- Your full name
- Your residential address
- Your email address used for your WilderGoat account
- Your phone number
- The name of the competition you want to enter
- Your answer to the competition question, where applicable

Important postal entry rules
- Postal entries are subject to the same maximum entry limits as the relevant competition.
- Each postal entry must be sent separately, with one entry per postcard – N.B. where the standard single-entry price for a competition is less than the cost of a second-class stamp, each valid postal entry will be allocated the number of entries required to meet or exceed the value of a second-class stamp. (The applicable second-class stamp price is the Royal Mail price in force when the competition opens).
- Postal entries must be handwritten and sent by post.
- Hand-delivered entries are not accepted.
- Postal entries must be received before the competition’s published closing date and time.
- Entries received after the closing date cannot be accepted.
- Entries must include all required details to be valid.
- Bulk entries, incomplete entries, illegible entries, or entries sent by any method other than post may be rejected.
- Valid postal entries are processed manually and added to the relevant competition.
- If the competition includes instant wins, valid postal entries are eligible for those advertised instant prizes on the same basis as paid entries.
- If the competition includes a main prize, valid postal entries remain eligible for that main prize as well.
- No purchase is necessary to enter by post.
Same prizes. Same chance.
Valid postal entries are treated on the same basis as paid online entries for the prizes advertised on that competition. A paid entry does not get better odds simply because it was paid for.
