And we did not want the instant-win side filled with random gadgets just to make the prize count look bigger.

The MSR Tindheim tents are proper camping prizes. The Jetboils are brilliant for quick hot drinks and meals when you’re outside. Coleman FyreLite stoves are small, useful bits of kit that work well on their own or tucked away as a backup.

The Helinox chairs give you somewhere genuinely comfortable to stop without hauling a massive camping chair around. The Rab shelters and Ark bivis are exactly the sort of things you hope you never really need, but make a lot of sense to have in your pack when things go a little off kilter.

Winning numbers are allocated to the instant-win prizes before the competition opens.
